Would I need to pay anything during the claims process?No, you won't need to pay anything except the excess amount stated in your insurance policy. Once we have completed the work, our final invoice is sent to your insurance company who will arrange the payment.

What will BEON charge me?We do not charge you anything directly, except the insurance policy excess amount. For more information please refer to our terms of business agreement.

Do I need to get multiple quotes from building firms for the Insurer?No, because once you appoint us to deal with your claim, there is no need to acquire additional quotes. This is because we carry out all surveys and provide a full detailed quote to the insurer, which will be sufficient for the insurers' acceptance. Usually, the insurers will ask for two or three quotes but this is an unfair practice for the customer.

Do I need keep on chasing the insurer?Once you sign the Letter of Authority, we will manage everything regarding your claim, so all future calls and correspondence with your insurer will be taken care of.

What will my insurance company think if I appoint a Loss Assessor?There is no problem in appointing your own Loss Assessor, to manage your claim to get a fair settlement. All this is within your legal rights to do so. Afterall, they have also appointed a loss adjuster to deal with your claim.

Why use a Loss Assessor?We are employed to act on your behalf, to protect & represent you only. The Assessor will liaise with the Insurers or Loss Adjusters to ensure you receive the best possible settlement. A loss assessor understands your insurance policy including the small print.

How long will it take to settle my claim?Unfortunately, there are no set timeframe for insurance claims. However, it is in our best interest to settle the claim and take your property to pre-loss condition as quickly possible.

At what stage should I employ a Loss Assessor?You need to appoint a loss assessor as early as possible to represent you from day one. However, we are able to assist with claims that are already in progress.
